This is my dossier of the day; a fish flew and went astray; tried much to my dismay; to break my vertebrae down by the break way.
It was my birthday; a Friday; and I was away on holiday in Tampa Bay; I must testify that I was wearing a splendid array.
I had just left the gourmet buffet, to head to the nearby cafe, to get a latte; and to meet my fiance Jay.
I was feeling gay; there was not a cloud in the sky so I decided to walk by the quay.
I was about halfway, and getting hungry again when I saw a fish.
That fish started to swim away; but I am not shy so I did say, "Hey, I am looking for a protege.
You look hungry.
Want some of the sorbet that I have in my cashé; in my sachet?"
No lie it looked me in the eye; and it did reply, "Hi; I may; please display without delay."
I thought I had an ally so I did obey.
That sorbet I did convey.
I could not have known that fish would stray; that the fish would betray; that that fish would defy gravity and an assault would soon be underway; and that I would be the prey.
That sly fish suddenly bellowed "Melee," and a flying squirrel-style attack was swiftly underway.
I did say, "Ney ney, I don't want to play," but that not-so-shy fish; was already having a heyday.
I can not deny that I was terrified, and I thought I was going to die so I let out a cry and then I screeched, "Little guy; I will comply; I can rectify; I can pay," but there was not a thing I could do but pray.
My world went grey; I was laid out on my back. But I was okay; I did not need an x-ray.
I had survived the attack, but I was left in such disarray; wondering how this all went so awry.
Anyway; justifiably I was stultified and I knew I could not give leeway, and that fish; I had to repay; for messing with me today.
Sooo...
I turned it into a fillet.
It may be passe but; I can verify; that fish pie will be the main entree at dinner on Sunday.
Add fish slayer to my resume.
Soiree, not soiree.
