I unfriended god

I reject his rule of suppression,
His holy writ a false confession.
Soldiers of his violent creed,
Beholden to heinous deed.
His sacred flames of retribution,
Bringing guilt and numbed contrition.
Fallen are those who choose to fear,
Their hiding eyes, downcast and drear.
My eyes, unclouded and vigilant,
Gaze past his holy imperative.
For his torturous example scares,
The spirit of true, selfless cares.
His threats and sermons--it's all for naught!
Souls enslaved in chains of wrought.
Gather I will with my own kind,
Force presents and I find peace of mind.
