Too far from what we used to be,
I'm still trembling everytime I see—
That familiar image who still impacted me.
You were back then my Sol,
My night in shining armor.
The light that awakened my strength,
And now, you've been limiting my length.
I can't just move in an inch.
I miss your touch,
Usually when you're doin' that pinch.
I used to be your so-called baby.
I used to be the cuddler of your body.
I used to be—
Bearing with all your uncertainties.
And so, you used me,
To get her.
For the both of you, to be together.
I was once your Luna.
You were once my Sol.
And by living from the present,
We are literally the sun and moon.
You, who keeps on rising.
And me, here on the dark still hiding.
We once met,
And that taught me to be a poet.
