I wanted to see the moon and the stars tonight—I was actually planning to sit on our rooftop for hours, and just stare up at the nightsky etched with some twinkling dots. But as I waited to get dark, I noticed that the clouds were present, and looked like carrying a huge amount of rain on them. A heavy downpour, that must be, I told myself.
Before, whenever I encountered such instances that didn't go as I plan, I felt sad, and thought that my plan was ruined. I found it really unfair, and why did it have to happen on the very time that I needed to see the stars the most? But then, I realized that I wasn't the only one struggling. Perhaps, a certain person within this world was praying for a rain that very evening to come, and his wish was that one chosen to be granted that moment; but that didn't mean that my prayer won't be heeded anymore. We all have this perfect time fit to every individual—that if your dream didn't turn into reality today, there are more tomorrows ahead of us; one of those are created to be yours.
Your time will come, too. You just have to be patient and to also move forward to finally get there.
