You will be found is what I've been told
But by who?
Who cares enough about me
About the pain that I'll bring when I'm found
You will be found
What, by myself?
I've spent years trying to find myself,
Searching for answers,
Why am I here? Why do I matter?
What do I feel.
You will be found
But is what to seek even worth the search?
You will be found
Maybe its by the monster in me,
Curled up in a slumber of my subconscious,
Sleeping just long enough to gain the strength,
To steal the light of those who come near me.
You will be found.
So I've found myself,
The innocence stripped away,
The light drained from my eyes,
The tears that soak my heart,
Seizing the fire before it engulfs me
In a blazing hatred, burning me to ashes.
You will be found.
But I feel the emptiness weighing me down.
You will be found
But I can't feel my heart pounding, pounding
You will be found
But the beats in my chest
Are of another person's drum
You will be found
But they hunt not for a treausure worth finding
You will be found
But I'm being tracked down, spied on,
Stalked by predators trying to sink their Poisonous teeth into my image
You will be found,
But it's a witch hunt and I am the prize,
Waiting to be incinerated
For nothing more than being the unknown
You will be found
But its dead or alive,
And I'm waiting to be six feet under
All for the gain of another
You will be found,
But the demons in my head
Will unleash their fury
On the fool who has the courage to find me
You will be found,
But I don't want to be found
So I hide away myself, so I can't be found.
I hide away my thoughts my love my hate.
I hide my fire in a wooden cage,
Hoping with all the strength I have left
That it doesn't burn through to the surface,
Hoping that no one can feel the heat
Of the the inferno in my heart
Just by standing too close
I stand behind some image I strive to uphold, Even though with every step
Through the trail of my so called life,
Another piece of me breaks off
And falls into the emty blackness of my despair
And I can't stop wondering, who cares enough?
Who won't get burned by me?
Who won't hate me for everything that I am
And everything that I hate myself for being
So that the only true enemy I have
Truly destroying me for my hate is myself.
Who will fill up my empty loneliness that leaves a hole in my heart craving to be filled
By someone who cares enough
About the darkness to find the light.
Someone brave enough to love me,
And my heart is filled with
Knives of the sudden realization that I do care
And there is only one sentence
That agonizes my mind with every thought,
Bleeding out my desire to be loved,
Washing away the skepticism
And bringing hope, false or not,
For the terrifying truth of this simple phrase
That manages to cause my head to ache
With each of these shattering four words;
You will be found.
