I Will Rise

You may write me down in disappointment
With your doleful, twisted lies,
You may traipsed me in the very dirt
But still, like dust i will rise.
Does my politeness upset you?
Why are you so edgy?
Cause i can't be like you?
Are u mad cause the agony?
That overwhelmed you,
couldn't ruined me?
Just like bubble and like smokes,
Like a tide waves
And like mountain peaks,
I will rise.

Did you want to see me broken?
Bowed head and lowered eyes?
Shoulders falling down like teardrops,
Weakened by soulful cries?
This pain supposed to hurt me but am fine
Laugh like i have got gold mines
Even if am with broken spines
Like air i will rise
Out of old shack of shame
I rise
Up from the achy memory
I rise.
