To learn what powers his mind so well
Gain some knowledge from within his brain

Intelligence that surpasses the average
Words arranged in the most perfect way
The meaning that comes about- savage
Intricate weaving of the English language
The choice of words has my mind blown
Always thinking ...oh , wow!, it's so amazing
A true wordsmith as he has repeatedly shown
And his voice fits the energy quite well
His vocal range can capture the mood,
Unlike any other singer I have heard
His voice and words are magical , it's true
I wish I could write like Maynard
Just one verse that is very similar to his
Only one or two lines that are comparable
To achieve that would be a great lift
I wish I could write like Maynard
Thinking outside the box, not of the norm
Beyond a regular frame of mind
His words make you feel like you're in a storm
His thought process must be sophisticated
A true great thinker of modern times
His lyrics will surely forever be remembered
One of the best writers to ever pen a line
