I wish I knew better,
How my acheivements to make
you happy would go in vain.
How much all of the energy it took
and the pain.
The stress that I went through,
Brought me in the constant whirl
of mess.
Broken hearts and sleepless night
Everything was nothing to you.
You cared for what I can give you.
Not what all I went through to give you
I wish you know,
How tired I am of you,
Not being proud of what I do.
How my constant nagging to ask
you if I am a good child
And you divert the topic saying
no one is categorized into one.
It's funny how you say that,
But totally change your demeanor
when your other beloved kids ask
I am tired of doing everything for you
But seeing always hopelessness
from you.
I wish I knew,
How much of the pain and hurt
I am going through for you
Was nothing for you if there
was less success than what you expected
I am a good child for you,
As long as I am rewarding you
with the brain, I don't live anymore
You break my heart into million
pieces and step on them
excruciatingly painful to single of them.
I know now,
Whatever I do, you will never be happy.
And it doesn't matter what relation
you hold and how much
You tell me, I love you.
I wish I was a kid and naive,
To believe that.
But I am not
And I know way better,
What I did back then.
