Once upon a time there was a prince,
He was a bliss when i took my first walk
Comforted me in times of childish sorrow,
Laughed when I dance to country songs,
Cocooned me in his arms till i fell asleep,
He was every girl's dream as a prince.
I called him by his name to annoy him,
He lights up when i called him dad,
He would challenge my mental ability time and time again,
Shared his aspiration with me like Im his friend,
His passion for education fuels my soul.
Wherever you may be,
I would like a chance to bring you happiness,
You have sacrificed more than enough to suffice,
You must know you are what has defined my success,
You missed what should be your moment,
For me to bring you happiness.
