I sit and ponder
does our life contains wonder?
Life and death
a mysterious concept,
a concept hard to explain
nor can it be obtain,
why are we born?
The question that made our mind torn,
Are we born to die?
or born to live?
The events occurring in our lifespan
was it already prophesied?
The day we were meant to die
was it already written?
Life is precious to be wasted
we should never drown in our sorrow
because we might not know
whether we will be alive tomorrow?
The things we are having
are they really there?
Or is it just emptiness
when we die we are consumed
by darkness,
We cross to the other side
with practically nothing,
Death gives meaning to life
It makes us realize the importance to live,
I wonder was our life
already planned?
or is it just a haphazard process?
Believers in God will assert yes to the former
while atheist will not,
Many conclude they know life and death,
but in reality no one
practically no one knows,
Only through self realization
and training ones mind,
May help to understand these two better.
