We always believed that there was more then friendship between us, but we were wrong.
The minute that you had a chance with him, you gave in, you were not very strong.
What does he have, that I don't have, can you tell me?
Is it his sneaky grin, or his lying eyes that you see?
I know I have an honest smile, and dreamy eyes when I'm looking at you, the innocence of a child.
I wonder if he would of not been interested in you, would you be looking at me.
I guess we will let bygones be bygones, and we will just let it be.
When I look your way, what do you see?
I know, I see you staring at me.
I'm sure if circumstances were different, I may of had a chance with you.
But, hey since your back in his arms, we will always wonder if there could of been a me and you.
