I lie, cheat, and steal
and do people dirty
just to make my money
then I wonder why
people don't trust me

I would rather spend my
last dollar on alcohol or
drugs other than buy
a roll of toilet paper to
wipe my ass just to bum
some from somebody
latter and never return
the favor, then I wonder
why people judge me

when the weather is 90
and sweat my ass off to
cover the track marks that
obviously makes me look
trashy, then I wonder why
people call me unclassy

I would rather panhandle
on the corner by the
Rotary to make a little
cash and act like I'm
homeless and hungry
to make quick money
for some Natty Daddy
and a bag of needles
from the Pharmacy
other than work because
I'd rather get high and be
lazy, then I wonder why
people drive right by me
