I would do it all over again....

I have crossed a million train tracks to get where i am now.
I have past a million tree branches, but still i wonder how.
I almost lost you, to get where i am.
At the moment i am not your number one fan.
I would do it all over again, if I knew you were standing at the cross roads.
So many words that haven't been told.
Oh geez, i think i'm getting old.

I'm gonna sit down at the table tonight.
I'm gonna write you the best love letter, that will make you feel alright.
I'm gonna sing you a love song, because your deserving of it.
I'm gonna find the best pictures of us and place it by the brightest candle that i lit.
I'm gonna need your complete attention when i whisper love words in your ear.
Everything that i have said, are the things that i most fear.

Love comes knocking on your door, only once in a lifetime.
Love to me was always my biggest crime.
Whatever i would say or do, always comes back crashing in my face.
Out of all the cards, i would draw out an ace.
I have learned that nobody is perfect, perfection is what you make of it.
I have learned that your sarcasm is in your wits.
You and me together can maybe fit.
Never underestimate the challenges that bring you where you are.
When i look out to the open skies, i see us in that falling star.
