When I go through stuff
I write
Even when it gets tough

For some reason
I find new meaning
In every season
There's a new beginning
This is how I fight
How I make it right
And get through night
It's my shining light
Even when I feel low
I write wherever I go
It's comforting
It's healing
My words brings me peace
It cause my trouble to cease
My whole being is pleased
As emotions are released
I write when I'm happy
And even when I'm sad
And all that's within me
Agree to let go of the bad
When I write I let go
My heart no grudges hold
As my heart overflow
And my spirit becomes bold
I'll face anything with a pen
I'll walk in a lion's den
It's my sword and shield
On an emotional battlefield
