I write poetry off and on
As it gives me pleasure,
There scopes for expression
Of my thoughts in leisure.
Poems are sources to inspire
All who are enlightened souls,
I shall write poems, I shall
To compose them as a whole.
I write poems, I believe
They help develop the self,
One who writes poems I think
Wants neither penny nor pelf.
I choose a place, quiet and calm
Nothing more than this thing,
And I want to write poems
When they are themselves writing.
