I write what I'm going through,
What I think,
What I know,
And how I feel,
I like to keep it real,
I don't like to put up a front and pretend I'm ok,
Because I know that I'm not and there's people out there that can relate,
All I ever wanted was for my words to touch peoples hearts,
Maybe write a song,
And inspire people,
I know that times are tough,
And most people want to give up,
But you gotta keep on going,
Like a semicolon, it goes on,
You go on,
Continue to live your life,
Sure you will crash when the waves hit,
But it's a bump along the road,
It's like a scratch that will heal,
