he lives for the thrill
of the audience and stage
then spills his heart
upon them with a song
shares a smile and a wave
while he walks on and off the stage
he is upon them the audience
the still they leave they put off
on him after he walks off
follows him on and on
he follows his heart
the audience is who carries him on
the song he plays carries through to them
while he continues on stage
after the song goes off
the stage light dims
the rush he feels was left with them!!!
