Here's my thoughts.....
Religion is like ice cream. There's many different varieties. Vanilla, chocolate, cookie dough, mint chocolate chip, ect... Everyone has their own preference of ice cream. That's ok. If you don't personally like someone's choice of ice cream they choose for their cone, you're not going to go over to them and Hulk Smash it. No, bc that's not ok. You're going to focus on your own favorite flavor and let them enjoy theirs. Now. Some people don't like ice cream and that's ok too. I don't like ice cream. I like steak. I will bet you this. If you overheard me ordering a steak, you would not go out of your way to approach me and try to convince me how ice cream is the better choice. Or try to force feed me your favorite flavor because you think it's good. You're not, because that's not ok and would be COMPLETELY inappropriate.
So, why is it, we feel we have the right to act this way with religion? Instead of minding our own preference and letting others enjoy theirs?
Just let people eat and believe what the fuck they want, Man. It's that simple. Christ.
