If February didn't march,
Would spring still find its way,
With sunlight on each budding branch,
As winter melts to lay?
The icy grip of cold would pass,
And days would stretch and sway,
Yet without a step to march it forth,
Would blooms not seek to play?
Without the tug of March, I fear,
What life would bloom appear?
Would crocuses still pierce the snow,
And robins sing their cheer?
In whispered hues of purple and gold,
Would daffodils still rise?
If February hesitated,
Would lilies be our prize?
April May would surely sound,
A tune of like delight,
But would the showers dance and spin,
If no march took flight?
Would rainbows arch their vibrant paths,
In skies so wide and blue,
If February stood still, and spring
Had not a day to cue?
The calendars would spin and twirl,
A dance without a leader,
For every season needs the hands,
Of time—a gentle feeder.
And yet, if February paused,
What stillness might ensue?
Would lovers’ hearts grow fonder still,
In the evenings, kissed by dew?
Would starlit nights be even brighter,
In anticipation's thrall?
Without the time to march ahead,
Would moments stand at all?
So let us cherish March’s breath,
And April’s teasing rain,
For when they mingle, life awakes,
To break the winter’s chain.
The flurry of the seasons’ shift,
Reminds us, as we roam,
That every month has merit bold,
And we have room to grow.
If February didn’t march,
Would May still bloom so bright?
Let’s celebrate the dance of time,
As day gives way to night.
For time is but a flowing stream,
That shapes our lives and hearts,
So let’s embrace each fleeting month,
As springtime’s love imparts.
In every whisper of the wind,
And every rain-soaked day,
If February didn’t march,
I hope we still would sway.
So here’s to all the months that pass,
Each moment ours to keep,
Together, let’s embrace the flow,
And in this journey, leap.
For without February’s hand in March,
The seasons might forget,
That every turn of time’s embrace
Is a miracle—don’t fret.
Let’s cherish every day we have,
Embrace the cold, the warm,
If February didn’t march, I’d say,
We’d still weather the storm.
So here’s to life and all its shades,
To moments that unfold,
If February didn’t march,
We’d find new tales to hold.
As we laugh and cry and sing,
Let every day ignite,
For every month has its own song,
And every heart takes flight.
