I

IF II

If love is you
I would treat myself never to love
For in you heartbreak is certain
And with your company love is hell.
If your home is love
I would sleep outside like the homeless
Even if cold will rip my heart off
Or freeze my body to the door of death.
If your love is light
I would love to walk alone in darkness
For your light are rays of death
That leads to the path of heartbreak
If your love is a journey
I would never embark on it
For all that awaits is ambush
That leads to the crushing weels of betrayal
If your love is the sky
I would never walk in the shade of its lovely blue light
Or ever stare at the beautiful stars
For even the joy it gives my heart will turn sad when it rains
If your love is life
I would never love to live
For in your life death waits
That tortures even my faith
