She always envied other girls
For they were prettier
Well dressed
Had everything she always
Dreamed of having
She felt not good enough

She wanted to be like others
She wanted to get noticed
She was tired of always being
The black sheep
So she decided to do everything
And anything to archive her dreams
And to the streets she went
Slept with every man
Just for money
She sold her self to get noticed
She disgraced her self to archive
She got used and got paid
Every man always wanted her
And she got addicted
To the act
And the fact that she got paid
Became her motivation
Society ooh yes society
Pointed fingers at her
Judged her
Labelled her immoral
Called her all sort of names
Just because they all sinned differently
Quick money as they all thought
But in real sense it wasn't
She got raped
Other times ganged
Beaten up
And most of the times
Not given even a dime
She wasn't happy
Misery filled her
Bitterness camped in her
She wanted nothing but death
She was suicidal
And nothing meant anything to her
She was only seventeen
And HIV positive
If only she had someone to guide her
If only her parents never abandoned her
If only someone cared
If only someone showed her love
I blame society
The people around her
For they only saw her mistakes
Instead of showing her the right
Path
They all watched as she perished
If only they cared
We wouldn't be burring her now
