a newspaper you'd read between the lies,
see the wounds I tried to hide, and all the misery I kept closely locked behind my flaws.
if only I was
a TV I'd broadcast a life that's easy to maintain, no baggage portrait as luggage to manipulate others brain's to the point of them trying to duplicate my stupid ways.
if only I was
an old slow car instead of a modern sports car, I'd slow the pace of my determination and realize dreams are not only easy to chase because when things are forced or at a faster pace you overlook the mistakes and eradicate the purpose of what's meant to transpire at a later stage...
if only I was
you, maybe I'd treat me better, show some respect when it really mattered, maybe I would tell me I loved everything about me, and that it's okay not to be okay because me is also just human and can also bleed but all of this doesn't matter because I'm still me with a broken mirror as a reflection.
