If only, money was not money;
it would've been of less care;
tattered, shattered and battered;
ignored completely in the chaos of the world.
If only, money was not money;
the world would have some ounce of kindness left in it;
with gratitude as a medium of exchange;
more likely earth it would be.
If only, love could be enough to express our gratitude;
the stress of life less could it be,
a simple smile could work out;
instead of those protruding pieces of paper.
But, trashes are admired more than love,
arrogance is praised more than tenderness,
kindness is mocked at, and love fails here,
the beautiful world we think of is somewhere there.
