If only today I had to change would i change anything at all
would I sacrifice my only life one string could I pull it could I make that call
If only today I could love those I love would i choose to love them right
Or would I despise the hurt they cause the dirt and end this love tonight
If only today I could speak my mind would i tell all that i feel
Or would i sit back with a muzzle, unfinished the puzzle or continue to hurt the unhealed
If only today I had the choice to change every mistake i ever made

If only today i had to cry my soul out would anyone care to hear my story
If not give me a second, one minute a blessing so I can go on with my glory
If only today was just one day most would live it like their last
to bad we have many days to live ahead
live for today for your future may slip away but never forget your past
