then regard the right..
Knowing to fixate straight ahead
while I'm standing here in this fight.
Accutely aware to whom I belong,
and who always comes first.
He feeds my inner soul,
and, satisfies my every thirst.
Normally tryin' not to trip over the clouds,
from where I can't pull my mind.
Lately, I stumble to the vastness of ground,
temporarily going blind.
Is it you that weakens me to my knees?
Yes, it's you I long to feel.
While time flows through the rhythm of day,
this internal flame blazes where I kneel.
Steady-now mind,
Even out a pace.
Pull back the reins,
of my pounding heart's race.
I'm caught in an affectionate struggle,
my heart plays tug-a-war.
Telling myself to concentrate,
While my body screams it desires you more.
You have many traits that I deeply admire,
Your intelligence takes my breath.
It's the way that you have been wired,
that makes you desirable above all the rest.
You have the most handsome smile,
Your eyes, I see when mine are closed.
The way your hands are defintavely crafted,
My bare thoughts must stay unexposed.
Clueless as to what I think of you,
Unrevealed feelings locked behind intimacy's door.
Though I'd love to run my fingers through your hair,
My respect runs deeply for you even more.
So, I stumble through these clouds,
In the wake of all my dreams.
I carry you with me around,
All of my silent passionate screams.
If you only knew how intensely I feel,
If you only knew the struggle is real.
If you only knew of the things above,
You would understand how deeply I love.
