iGnOrANcE
If I could move a mountain
With nothing but my hands,
And I could make the rain fall
An all drought tortured lands,
If I could make things better
On every single day
I could still not change opinions
And make others think my way
It is futile that we think
Another's mind could be shaped,
That with just our simple words
Their ignorance has escaped,
And yet no one does consider
That they might just be wrong
'Cause to find a new opinon
Could take too very long
Believe only it the thing you see
See only the things you fear
Fear the things you dont know
Know the things you hear
Hear the truth in speach
Speak the truth in other ways than mouth
Mouth the words of the wise to all you meet
Try to meet the people that want to be found
In finging these people, try not to over look the ones that cant be seen
In meeting these people free your mind from hate
Because you dont want lose the chance for fate
When others disagree with you,
Ignore them.
When others say what you are,
Warn them,
When others tell the truth,
Assail them.
When your argument fails,
Berate them.
When they use your tactics against you,
Report them.
When your illusions are challenged,
Exalt them.
When all else fails,
Lie!
So sure of what you think you know
So ready to fight for what you think is right
but the truth and what you try to show
is like the difference between day and night
You spout yout babble like it's absolute
When proven wrong you twist and turn
Too bad for you the truth is resolute
you intentionally lie and for that you will burn
I know a man called Ignorance,
He seems like a nice enough guy.
He waves to me in the morning,
he goes to work in a shirt and a tie.
I define myself through knowledge,
Define my life through my strife,
With that small piece of treasure,
Which may alleviate my plight.
The treasure is found,
My struggles are saved,
I open the golden box,
But nothing remains!
What did I find,
Where does this go,
On top of the rubble,
In that melting snow?
But now I find an old tire,
Behold it contains my key,
I remember who I am,
As I forget the same.
I awake to find a new day,
Floating in the waters afresh,
But when does it end,
That perpetual swim
We put up with their constant barbs
And try to see thier view
But let us turn the tables once
And it's time to turn the screws.
Why, do you say,
was he banned on that day?
Because of the ways
he didn't deny ignorance.
