"ok" the word that hides in-between broken
You know I'll never forget the words she had spoken
Cause all of them left my whole heart crushed and open
Piece by piece and flesh by flesh I watch myself getting rotten
To the outside world I put on a smile 😊
But deep inside I seal a frown 🙍
Nowadays people call me and be like " yoh bro, where you at? it's been a while?"
And I always tell am alright but little do they know that am having a breakdown
If only you all could see through my eyes
You could been shaken by surprise
Cause this whole time I thought she loved me
Well it was all fake and full of lies
From babe to calling me by my name
Fuck! this just fills me with a lot of shame
I told you I loved you, you said you felt the same
But now I realise that was just a claim
I said I needed you, you said you'd be there
I said don't leave, you said your not going anywhere
But check, we've now gone there
These wounds are still fresh, they sting to the touch
It was either her happiness or mine
Both were all on the line
But she chose herself, so forget it am fine
Just leave me alone
If you call and I don't pick up the phone
Just try to understand that I want to be on my own
Am ok, so stay out and leave me to chill in my zone.
