I’m human, I’m not God
Don’t see me to be perfect
Because I’m a Christian
And don’t use my mistakes
Or wrongdoings against me

Sometimes I act in ways that are unacceptable
But please be patient with me,

I know I’m supposed to live a righteous life as a Christian
But I can’t attain perfection

Why is everyone pointing fingers at me everywhere I go?
Has everyone forgotten too soon that I’m only human?
Why can’t everyone reason with me that I’m only human?

I fall and I rise
I grow weak and I get strengthened
I fall sick and I get well
Because I’m human
Try as much as possible to understand me
