Tap tap tap on the window goes the rain,
Oh how I wish my tears could do the same,
But sometimes it's to hard to feel the pain.
Loud cracks goes the thunder as each lightning flash,
I wish they could mimic my emotions so brash,
But only silence spills the damage I rehash and rehash,
So much is a wonder when the storms pass through,
Reminds me of all the things my feelings once knew,
Oh such a sweet relief my emotions no longer do.
