They say my melody is melancholy.
"It's sad to see you...be sad."
It's not that I'm sad
it just what I know best.
Why is that so bad?
I've harnessed this feeling for years.
My heart is ready to be cleared.
Please I am not sad.
I just want to connect to you,
somehow.
So when I am gone,
this thing inside of me
can have a place of it's own
to keep living on.
