So much going on
in this World Today
im ducking, Im Dodging
I Admit Im Tucked away
I see the Violence on T.v
I Stay Tuned into The News
There's Shootings, There's Killings
I Shake My Head ..an. I say Ooh
Everytime i turn around
Someones Got Shot in my city
I be Cooking..i look up
its on my T.V what a pitty
some of them i know
some of them maybe not
people dyeing left and right
well got damn this has to stop
in the comfort of my home
i think i'll stay tucked away
because there's danger
in these streets
and im scared and dismayed
although crime is everywhere
they will get you in your home
it does'nt matter..how safe you are
so i exspress this in this poem
im tucked away..im tucked away
i watch the violence all unfold
all we can do is watch and pray
and hope it never touches home.
