Imagine:
The sounds.
The steam engines firing
The steel grinding against each other
The motion unceasing
The screams of agony...
Imagine:
You look outside your cabin window
The crowd piling over each other's sins
Fire and red ash flakes like lanterns released in the wind
Where did all the oxygen go to?
Do we take the time to breath it all in?
Your breath fogs up the window
The tears wipe it clean again
Imagine:
No tree leaves left with green skin
Pink and blue and white hot flames
Bring the 1st class a devilish grin
Sink holes and tar pits
Black muck caves the heart in
Imagine you see ignorant
Right beside the obvious wicked
Imagine:
The railway, as it spirals upwards
Through Dante's layers traveled thin
The sky funnels upwards
Life like an hourglass
Turning over again and again
As you sit in your section seat
Are you ascending up
Or descending down,
Another scarred memory singed
Imagining, left imagining
Bodies plastered across the tracks
Imagine:
All the white bright souls
Falling down like a glowing neon shower rain
Dark clouds emit from the stench and woes
As the spirits cry over the mistakes they made
Mistakes...
Imagine a God or devil to blame
Imagine Someone calling themselves "Love"
Only to invent such a hell to be a real thing.
Imagine:
The ever merciful,
Reaching A mighty large hand down through Hell's inner most gate
To raise a mighty middle finger
Calling it "loving" to show His creation such hate
The wind picks up now
Royal dark purple hues and Grey blurs to paint the portrait's stains
And just like any other common nightmare
A tornado forms to seal the fate
Imagine:
A spiral, lifting the train up off the tracks
The ticket your family bought you
To sell you out to heaven has now been taken back
The crash course is thrown in a dark dimension now
The abyss, where the fallen angels smoke their crack
Large pale creatures
A faintly glow left to make up for what they lack
Imagine:
A band of demons and jinn
Scurrying the floors like rodents
Waiting for you're blood thirst to kick in
When hell is "a" final option
Then you might as well give in
With every light of sun
There's a dark side at it's finish
You step outside the box crash
You look out into the cosmos for a glimpse
"How could things ever be so chaotic?"
You ask as you reach to pinch your skin
With such great order down to fraction of the atom,
And such design from before the Earth's beginning
You make a tare at yourself for pain or pleasure
Only to feel nothing
But a realization sinking in...
Your imagination has run thin.
You wake up
You've arrived at your stop
Another day in paradise to live again
