IN A SECOND

it was a summer day I remember
a very September to remember,
everyone happy for a beautiful Saturday,
enjoying the beauty of the day.
Celebrations where everywhere,
children singing the beauty of music really enjoying it's greatness,
it was the summer awaited for so long.
Shopkeepers very Happy with their customers,
enjoying their trading in a summer day,
very, very Happy the day was.
out of everyone's knowledge,
No body knew what was coming ahead,
Plates movement now taking place deep down on Earth.
moving so quick, but no body noticed.
In a second, a sudden silence appeared,
In a second houses fell like slashed glasses,
In a second blood was everywhere,
in a second everywhere seemed uncomfortable.
it's the earthquake, Very quick and hard to measure it's magnitude,
so sudden it appeared, causing cracks in roads and buildings.
Celebrations turned into bloodshed.
death now took a lead, in a second happiness turned into bitter red tears.
had anyone knew what was to happen
cautious people could be,
but life can change in a second,
so scary and horror the day turned.
The September that left a history,
Death ate everyone leaving a few to make a history to others.
