I’m hurt and I’m sad and I’m fragile and it feels hopeless,
Coz I only want to give my best but I’m all tangled up into one big mess,
I keep pushing my feels away and I keep reaching for the daylight,
and the sun that will warm me and give me hope,
but it’s like digging a hole in the sand; every scoop removed is replaced with surrounding grade and no noticeable progress is made.
And I’m still stuck in my tangled mess.
I'm still stuck in my tangled mess,
Of a love I gave filled with cares and I was selfless,
He was supposed to be the better half but was careless,
My heart on his lyre he played for he was reckless,
Now I'm broken and I have be trying to move on relentless.
I'm still hopelessly reaching for the daylight and the sun ,
That can keep my heart and my soul in heavenly glow,
Although my progress like the dugged sand creeping into the hole,
And my shovel soring my hands with its heavy blows,
But I'd keep running out the pain and appreciate the flow.
I'm still stuck in my tangled mess,
But now I see the rays of hope, shining bright from my hole
I see the rays of light in the minds of the little kids who has a piece of my heart in their souls,
I see the rays of hope in my best friend who shares with me hoping I get its glows.
I'm glad I reached for the sun , for I caught its heavenly rays of hope,
Although I was fragile and at a point ran out of my box of hope,
I untangle the mess I carved, and ran out of its cave,
very large I see the hole I dug, and in its depth buried my pains and my hurt.
I'm free from my tangled mess, for I released my heart and learned to live again.
