how can they feel no shame
when the ones who are to blame
are the ones who can't be named
because the rest are to afraid
we cry over the bullies
those who feel they're better than us
but when the time comes to speak up
our courage turns to dust
you're struck down once again
mistaking the enemy for a friend
they get close enough to hurt you
and when it finally comes to an end
you're broken and won't let anyone in
in a world full of pain
how can you feel no shame
you know you're to blame
but others won't say your name
you know they're to afraid
