IN AN UNKNOWN WORLD π
In a world where I was once known,
A life I lived with my parents
They gave me all; I never lacked,
Life shone bright, like a golden egg.
But life turned messy, into an unknown world,
Where I was treated with cruelty and pain.
Violated by my stepfather,
Denied access to education,
Denied my rights
Oh! Life became a mess.
I found no hope in them,
For their hearts were as hard as stone.
Oh! in this unknown world π,
I was taught to be strong on my own,
To value my life like a fragile egg.
Oh! My life was a mess,
And I regret ever living
In an unknown world.
Yet from the cracks, I learned to rise,
Bruised, but breathing broken, but alive.
The unknown world did not end my story;
It shaped my strength, it built my voice.
I may regret the road I walked,
But I refuse to be defined by it.
I am more than the mess I survived
I am healing,
I am standing,
I am becoming my own light.
