In all of us there lies a hidden treasure,
a super luminous light;
yet, only in so few has it blazed forth,
as rightfully it should have,
Illuming, from the spirit within,
our fleshly lamp, and kindling
a cosmic wonder & awe
in our nigh-brought souls!
(The Splendour of the Gods, how few!)
And in us lies the blame;
Forever, we are crassly,
by routine and wrath,
we unconsciously damp down & choke
the beautiful spark that glints within us.
And the precious treasure,
if we would only allow,
would unfold itself in us,
it would burgeon forth with such luminosity, moulding & transforming, till,
as precious flowers we bloomed,
fulfilled of loveliness, finally unveiled.
