In my mind you'll always be mine. No matter the circumstance, you and I are one, so why try to fight what is a reality? I close my eyes, and see only your face, feel your touch as it shivers through my insides, like the wind brushing across the surface of water. I know we tried to be together, and we saw it wasn't right for us, now I have another and so do you, but in my mind you sit as queen, someone I let slip through my fingers, and now I'm longing and craving for just memories. In my mind, we're together happy and smiling under the hand of God, like Adam and Eve were, but like a fool I wanted something else, and in my disrespect of his gift, he took you away and gave you to someone's willing to see that your a treasure, and now that I see you with him, I kick myself, cause in my mind you were supposed to be mine, with a ring and the whole nine. But, I guess the puishment fits the crime of stupidity."
