My life is in pieces
and im not liking
this pain feeling
and my mask is only
making me
realize this
how quickly
this pandemic
is changing the world
and just yesterday
it seemed
so secure
and now even the election
could cause waves
maybe for sure
and before
it wasn't breaking
so fast
I got to see you everyday
and now
its not that way
and people don't all
see things the same way
and some want to hate
and its scaring me
and I just want love
to rule the world again
and im missing happy
faces and im crying
as im singing this
