Waving a torch,
journeying all around,
in pursuit of happiness,
never to be found
Every turn I take,
the danger rises,
with my life at stake,
so many sacrifices
I walk through a tunnel,
through the dark,
to someplace happy,
I wanna embark
Why is this world,
so sad and gloomy,
why isn't for happiness,
our life quite roomy ?
I spot a light somewhere far,
my instincts kick and I run,
I see some children playing around,
all having a lot of fun
This was a place where darkness,
hadn't ever set its foot,
I had found somewhere jolly,
no matter I had to go afoot
So here's the thing I want to say,
that be careful when choosing your way,
evil can't triumph over good,
if in your hearts warmth stood
