In The Eye

Been in the eye for my entire life
Seen such things as cursed in my strife
It seems to know me as a fragile chime
To be a part of intensity brings no crime
Just A rider of intent brought forth from the blinde
Under water so deep, too ahead to be behind.
I wear this cloak within a curious stare
Comfortably atop is the mantel I share
Wisdom lends from HE as aware.
The older I become the younger I wear.
There's no peace amidst a forgotten pair
To market we hide from this growing glare
When the wind decides to arrive its due
Often its me caught in a game of clue
Still the slightest touch and its me as a fool
Braving many a storm where shadows are used.
Handle with care is my anthem too
A party for hundreds bring a satchel to you
Such is found in my mating call
Torches enflamed to brighten a shawl
How nice to be as hidden in my Amnesty crawl
Wondering gazes and again Im too tall
Suspended closely above the wreckage brawl
Neither here nor there nor anywhere I fall
Friendships in oil now brave where I stand
With thunder so gentle I'm allowed and on demand
Brave soldiers within still shelter my hand
One cannot dance in a flurry of sand
Words so alien have no vision at land
Cuccooned, I move forward as fast as I can.
