Can it be heard,
do the screams
overpower the whispers,
I see things before they come,
been blessed with this gift,
thru your eyes I see
a lifetime of pain,
true love lays sleepless
upon your lips,
lost love and no illusions
that it's been missed,
to the ends of the earth,
far past the limitless skies,
tears fade like a long day
into the night,
let go of yesterday
and hold tomorrow tight,
let true love be
your guiding light,
hand in hand
like the mystery of
the promise land,
I love you has been written,
just look
at the letters of love
in the sand,
premonitions of love,
everlasting like a smile
shining down from above,
no more tears of pain,
picture no more love
expressed in vain,
this is poetry
at its very best,
soft kiss upon the soft lips,
the pains of yesterday
have now been
put to rest...
