We remember them
That faught and died
That faught and won
For us that came after
Who knows they stood
As an unsummountable wall
For all our freedoms
To live without fear
Over turning tyranny
And even though I abhore war
Violence of any kind
Don't even like to shout
That I am able to live
This life
Is due to the staunch
Bravery and sacrifice
Of those we remember
Fixed that then
For all of us now.
