Inevitable is the path that leads to change,
that's but the only thing that's within range.
We keep bringing in the need to be constant,
an illusion that is magical by all extent.
Like death that follows the euphoria of youth,
and finally catches up with all the uncouth,
is but a reminder that change is inevitable,
that it doesn't leave anyone, however venerable.
From heady dizziness brought in by the ferment,
to the abscesses that the poor let to foment,
change creeps up silently, us it'll always torment.
When the pull of change is really really felt,
when we are all surreptitiously under spelt.
That's when change's inevitability is felt.
