The human is uniquely ignorant.
I don't mean this in a pejorative way,
in which one attempts to demean or belittle.
I mean it simply based on pragmatic function.
See, in 1690 there was a philosopher by the name of John Locke that coined the phrase "Tabula Rasa".
This was during the nature versus nurture debate.
He essentially stated the human was a "Blank slate" and in being so could be molded to be whatever one deemed.
We now know this to be untrue.
But, in actuality its not as far off as it may seem.
It's quite obvious in today's time that both nature and nurture help mold the human as it attempts to exist as it sees fit.
But,
there's one thing we always forget,
knowledge.
Though there are innate differences among every human,
the simplicity of each human at its inception is inherent.
Meaning the mind in most cases come unequipped to handle simple processes.
And, more importantly comes ready to be told what is and what isn't.
This innate ignorance gives reason to why we as human beings exist absent comprehension of even our natural tendencies.
Why humans know not why they blink.
Why they eat in abundance.
Why they feel this need to follow the crowd,
and be accepted by the public.
And,
above all else,
why they are so destructive.
For one to minimize the existence of exceptional minds,
would not be wise.
Of course there are minds inclined to reach far beyond what simple defines.
But,
those minds are few.
And,
within this world,
billions of minds are molded to exist within a single line.
Morphed into believing lies.
And,
taught that conformity is simply how unity is described.
One wonders,
if time escapes a thinking mind as to never truly exist within it,
do the individuals within such a time become
less of what's intended?
In a sense,
do humans essentially need to be taught?
And,
if so,
who or what is responsible for such actions?
It's quite obvious to me that my mind was not taught,
at the very least not in the usual structured way.
For,
my parents knew nothing I would deem to be interesting,
and the schools I attended taught me absolutely nothing aside from socialization.
In conclusion,
I'm simply curious about the nature of humans.
They seem to be inherently ignorant,
absent original thought,
only comprised of systemic impressions.
A perception of the world,
that's been molded to fit a homogeneous conception.
Where as tribalism cannot exist within human,
but only within the simplicity of likeness.
