we are born into this world
needing to be loved
longing to be held
begging to be fed
we are thirsty
lonely
tired
hungry
scared
sick
insatiable to everything we need
there is never enough.
we are consumers;
consuming ourselves.
I am jumping off this hamster wheel
gently feeding my basic needs and saying
Enough!
I choose to give instead of want
Faith instead of fear
hope over hopeless
give over take
heal over hurt
please join me in this lonely changing of Direction dear ones--
but so very necessary.
