The pain she feels in her heart is a heartache that no one should ever have to bare.
The pain you feel when someone close to you passes, but this pain is more than that.
It's when you love someone and they're already gone because they gave up and continued to lead you on, build you up until you were feeling great then withour fail they shot you down.
Why does she love such a person as this?
You may ask yes why would she love an awful person such as this?
They toyed with her heart and her emotions.
It's when you know that they are gone never to return to you.
Why would you feel all this hopeless love for someone who is far gone?
It's when you know you will never see them again in passing, never see their smile and never feel their touch again. The heartache is real and it is pure.
The pain in your heart is only caused by yourself because you won't let go of something you know now was never really yours in the first place, she sees that now. And, still, she is blinded by her love. She will never belong to you again, it seems she will always be longing for her true love to return someday.
The pain you feel is because it's you torturing yourself on the inside. Never to return again they have moved on and you can't find the courage to let go.

Knowing that somewhere out there is the one, you truly love, and truth be told your true love once upon time is in someone else's arms.
You feel as though you can't go on in life without them.
You grieve in your own pain for something you used to have and then in a blink of an eye it's gone but you're still holding on tight.
You sit and wait in hopes that by some reason the one that has gone may show up unannounced. All of a sudden you realize it's just figment of your imagination an allusion of some sort your heart, your eyes playing tricks on you. Your mind playing tricks on your heart and soul.
