A day to celebrate the art of verse,
To let the words flow and emotions immerse.
From the depths of the heart to the corners of the mind,
Poetry is a medium that's unique and refined.
A single line can speak volumes of truth,
A stanza can transport you to another youth.
The rhythm and rhyme, the cadence and flow,
Are all part of the magic that poets know.
From Shakespeare to Frost, from Poe to Plath,
Their words have left an indelible path.
Their poems have inspired and moved us,
Their verses have taught and amused us.
So let's celebrate this day with joy and pride,
For poetry is an art that cannot be denied.
Let's share our words, our thoughts, and our dreams,
For in poetry, nothing is quite as it seems.
