INTO MY HAVEN
Beautiful, oh web of stars
that looms amid
the children of the cosmos
Enfold me in thine sylvan arms
with unity's vehement charms.
(Befall on me a weary son of Earth)
~
Beautiful, in tears bereaved
in sylphlike sadness, left to bleed
Bewailed upon a bed of thorns,
impaled a heart, on sorrow's horns.
A seeker's ode to thee I read
My tearful soul a mourning heed.
~
There's a stream that
leaves my open veins;
A life-blood licked
my essence drained.
No verdant balm to
soothe my soul.
Wherefore betwixt
two worlds I'm whole.
~
Ere thralled by the light
of sin I'll die - forlorn.
~
This slumbering world of
shallow surface dwellers.
may one day wake up
In hades cellars.
Lest the truth seekers
by earthen rule become bold
& bring forth the truth
which Angels hold.
~
To the earth, sky & sea
I call in pain
my heart bereaved;
Spirit of Nature,
of beast & droid,
my soul for thy love,
my tears destroyed.
(...An Eden in fire,
what lives shan't remain)
~
For when I live
under a different sky,
Beneath the ethereal hills,
clouds passing me by.
Remember the time of
which I cried to be apart.
Remember these words,
they've flown from my heart.
~
Darkness becomes deeper
than ever before.
But an illusion of separation
Is still at the core.
~
Silence has gone mad.
Balance must be restored
There is no sound here
Just dreams ignored
~
But Something I will never hide
This urging need to
~
(Invite Shakti)
Invite the darkside in
Invite the darkness
In… in… in
Into my haven
