I'm lying here in a dark place.
My eyes are closed but somehow I hear voices around me.
I can't move but I can hear.
I can feel but I can't see.
My spirit is floating around everyone I love, I look in their eyes of fear.
My body can't see, but my spirit can.
I think I'm going to heaven because I see two hands reaching out to me.
There's this light shining towards me and at the end is a man.
But, then I look around my body and I see all my family and friends.
Everyone is crying, I don't understand!
If I go, will they be mad and will they find a way to live without me.
My soul wants to go, it wants to be free.
But, I don't want to leave if they are not ready to let me go.
How do I find the answers, how will I know.
The light is getting brighter and the man's voice is saying :
" come out into the light, its time to say goodbye."
I asked him:
" if I go will my family be okay?"
He said:
" you can watch over them up here, every night and day."
So I touched my little girl on her arm and said.
" mamas got to go to the light, god is waiting so I must say good night."
The little girl kissed her mama and said:
" one day I will go to heaven and we will be together again, but right now I have to take care of daddy. He's taking it very hard mama! I don't know how to stop his tears from falling. This may go on for years mama! One day he will find someone to fill the gap in his broken heart."
I let go of my baby girl, and went off into the light.
I saw my mama standing there with pops and at that moment I knew everything would be alright.
